Our Waitlist Explained

Each year, Rosenberg receives more strong and well-qualified applications than can be accommodated without compromising the quality of education. As Artisans of Education, we are deeply committed to delivering an outstanding, forward-thinking, and highly personalised learning experience. To maintain this standard of excellence, we intentionally limit enrolment. Being placed on the waitlist reflects a strong application, though others may have aligned more closely with our intake profile.

Accepting a Waitlist Offer

If your child has been offered a place on our waitlist and you wish to accept, you are required to opt-in by confirming your intention to take a place should one become available. This confirmation needs to be received in writing and signals your full commitment to Rosenberg. If an offer is made within the timeline, your family agrees to accept and proceed with enrollment at Rosenberg.

To secure a spot on the waitlist, please respond to the Admissions Team’s waitlist offer promptly. A secure payment link for the refundable waitlist deposit will then be provided. The waitlist place is only confirmed once the deposit has been received. Please note that this does not constitute an offer of admission; your application remains under consideration, and admission is not guaranteed.

Supporting Documents

You are encouraged to share any additional information—such as recent achievements, updated transcripts, portfolios of work, or other supporting documents including additional letters of recommendation—with the Rosenberg Admissions Team after being waitlisted. However, depending on the circumstances, the team may not always be able to take these materials into consideration.

Waitlist Timeline

Waitlist decisions are latest communicated by July 15 each year for the upcoming academic intake starting in late August / early September.

Confirming a Waitlist Offer

If your child is offered a space at Rosenberg, we strongly advise confirming your acceptance as soon as possible. Please be aware that deadlines for accepting offers from the waitlist may be very short, and we are unable to hold a place unless it has been formally reconfirmed by the Admissions Team and all administrative requirements have been completed.

In accordance with our Terms & Conditions, Institut auf dem Rosenberg reserves the right to withdraw any offer or cancel an existing contract of education if the conditions of the offer are not met or if unforeseen circumstances arise — including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters or failure to meet academic requirements.

Deferred Offers

In some cases, if the Rosenberg Admissions Team is unable to offer a space for the requested academic year and depending on the applicant’s age, they may extend an offer of deferral for direct entry in the following academic year. Only the Admissions Team can initiate a deferral; families cannot defer offers of entry. If a deferral is offered, a separate communication will follow outlining the conditions and next steps.

Unsuccessful Applications

We sincerely appreciate the effort and enthusiasm each applicant brings to the Rosenberg admissions process. Due to the limited number of available places and the high volume of exceptional applications, we are unable to offer admission to all qualified candidates. In some instances, a candidate's age may exceed the eligibility for deferral, limiting future opportunities for entry. This outcome reflects the constraints of our admissions capacity and not a judgment of the applicant's abilities or potential. We are confident that each applicant will continue to achieve success in their educational journey.
